Chipotle Butter CornBy The Batch LadyThis is a great butter recipe that can be made in advance and frozen. We love it on corn but it's equally as good on chicken and other veg.
Halloumi SkewersBy The Batch Lady A delicious and simple vegetarian recipe for the BBQ
Spiced Roast Vegetable SoupBy The Batch LadyThis is a different way to make soup - it's great for busy people who need to get on with something else instead of standing at the hob cooking the onions. Easy, healthy, vegan, vegetarian, gluten free and DELICIOUS. Makes a great starter or lunch. Also a good way to use up any vegetables in your fridge.
Haggis stuffed ChickenBy The Batch LadyI would always recommend doubling this recipe, that way you don't waste 1/2 a haggis. If you stuff 8 chicken breasts, you will have used the whole thing.
Vegan Spaghetti BologneseBy The Batch LadyThis is a meat-free take on the classic family favourite. Who would know the difference?
Rhubarb GinBy The Batch LadyMake sure you use the pink part of the rhubarb stalk to get a lovely pink tinge to your gin.
Vegetable Bhuna CurryBy The Batch LadyMost of the ingredients in this curry came from my freezer.  No chopping at all except for the coriander for the garnish.   If you are feeling lazy / haven't been shopping / don't like chopping, this is the recipe for you!  Ready in 30 mins or less.
Butternut squash and sweet potato soupBy The Batch LadyThis recipe was devised by a friend of mine, originally made to use up the the fresh coriander and coconut milk that was leftover from making the Spice Pots Goan Fish Curry. She's done a cracking job - it is a really tasty warming soup packed with fresh vegetables. The coconut milk gives it a lovely sweetness and creamy consistency.
