Freezing tipUsing an ice cream scoop, you can place individual scoops onto baking parchment on a baking tray. Once the individual scoops are frozen, place them in a freezer bag and store in the freezer, leave this to freeze for 5 hours or preferably overnight, ready to serve.

Instead of scooping out the ice cream, I put a star nozzle in a disposable piping bag and pipe our ice cream ‘roses’. Perfect portion control and a lovely presentation idea
I liked that you explained that it would be smart to add flavors you like before you freeze the ice cream. It would be fun to try to make my own ice cream but I am not a very patient person, and this seems like something you would need to be patient with. It might be better for me to go get some ice cream from a good ice cream parlor.
Hi Penelope, I’m all for saving time so that’s a super easy way to create your own favourite flavours and experiment – have fun with it!
Honestly it took me 15 minutes to make & a couple of hours in freezer & it was far better than anything from a shop 😋
This is the best ice cream EVER! I added frozen berries, next time I’m going to try chocolate 😋.

This was a great recipe to do with my 2 year old grandchild. Once she dipped her finger to taste I’m surprised we had enough go in the freezer😃. So easy, will be experimenting with flavours next time. Thank you
Great easy to follow video. Thanks
Brilliant recipe, the best ice cream and you know what’s in it! I have used this recipe for a few years now and made all sorts of flavours. Vanilla, strawberry, mango, lemon, orange, coffee, chocolate and salted caramel. For the salted caramel I simply use the caramel condensed milk and add salt to taste.
