Ingredients

  • beef mince
    500 g
  • American mustard
    1 tbsp
  • garlic granules
    1 tsp
  • Worcestershire sauce
    4 tablespoon
  • baby bells
    4 piece

Method

  1. 1. To a large mixing bowl add the mince, salt and pepper, mustard, garlic powder and Worcestershire sauce and mix together with your hands.
    2. Tip the mince mix out onto a surface and split into 2, then split each half in 2 again so you have 4 rough balls of the mince mix.
    3. With each ball, slightly flatten it and then add a babybell to the centre. Close the mince round the outside of the babybell and flatten It slightly so you have a burgers shape and the cheese isn’t showing.
    4. Place the burgers into a labelled freezer bag.

  2. Ready to freeze

Place the burgers in a large reusable freezer bag and freeze flat.

  3. Ready to cook

Defrost completely in the fridge overnight. You can cook them on the BBQ, or in the oven at 180oc for around 20-25 minutes on a baking tray.

Serve with a bun, salad and some chips for a brilliant easy meal!

  1. Could you use lamb mince instead of beef?(I can’t tolerated minced beef). Maybe with a little chopped mint put through?
