Standard batch serves 4

Yields1 Serving
 ½ cup of frozen onion
3 teaspoons of frozen pre-chopped ginger
3 teaspoons of frozen pre-chopped garlic
A handful of fresh chopped coriander or mint leaves (can use frozen if don’t have fresh)
3 teaspoons of either Spice Pots Bhuna Spice
 500 grams minced lamb
 Salt and pepper
1

Method
Mix all the ingredients with the lamb and knead thoroughly.
Divide the mixture into 4 burgers.

2

Ready for the freezer
Place raw burgers into a labelled freezer bag, taking as much air out of the bag as possible (a straw works well for this). And freeze flat.

3

Ready to Eat
Defrost burgers overnight in fridge and cook for 10 minutes in an oven, or around 3 minutes each side in a frying pan. Check to make sure the middle is piping hot before serving.

Make sure that reheated food is thoroughly cooked all the way through. If you’re cooking or reheating meat, cut it open with a clean knife to check it is piping hot all the way through – it should be steaming. www.foodsafe.eu
