Ingredients

  • Frozen onion
    0.5 cups (58 g)
  • Frozen pre-chopped ginger
    3 tsp
  • Pre-chopped garlic
    3 tsp
  • Fresh coriander (or mint)
    1 handful
  • Spice Pots bhuna spice
    3 tsp
  • Minced lamb
    500 g
  • Salt and Pepper
    1 pinch

Method

  1. Method

Mix all the ingredients with the lamb and knead thoroughly.
Divide the mixture into 4 burgers and then form 4 burger patties

  2. Ready for the freezer

Place raw burgers into a labelled freezer bag, taking as much air out of the bag as possible (a straw works well for this). And freeze flat.

  3. Ready to Eat

Defrost burgers overnight in fridge and cook for 10 minutes in an oven, or around 3 minutes each side in a frying pan. Check to make sure the middle is piping hot before serving.

    1. Hi there, yes that would work well! I would avoid the leanest turkey mince and go for something around 7% fat. Hope that helps!
