I would always recommend doubling this recipe, that way you don’t waste 1/2 a haggis. If you stuff 8 chicken breasts, you will have used the whole thing.

Simply take out of the freezer and defrost, cook on a tray with the silver foil slightly open for 35-40 minutes, or until your chicken is cooked and piping hot through (depends on the size of your chicken breasts).
This is great served with mashed potato and a whisky sauce!
I think i might try this with haggis and black pudding 🙂
sounds good , happy batching
Sorry. What is haggis? Was going to google it but computer is slow.
Its a wee hairy animal thats found running around the hills in Scotland
Hi, do you cook the haggis first if u want to freeze them or do u put the raw haggis in the chicken?
Hi Evelyn, just add the haggis in raw as it will cook when the chicken is cooking.
Hi Evelyn. You don’t really cook haggis as such. It comes already prepared.it is only a matter of hearing it up. Being Scottish we eat it often.
Morning
has anyone ever tried doing balmoral chicken in the slow cooker?
