Get Ready for University Course- Easy Fajitas Recipe
Fajitas is an absolute staple for students and in this video Nicola and I are showing you how to make them in advance by adding the ingredients raw to a freezer bag and storing in the freezer so you can grab out a bag when needed, defrost and cook! Such a simple way of getting organised in advance and saving money!
Ingredients: 1/2 onion finely sliced
1 cup (175g) frozen sliced peppers (or 1 fresh, sliced)
2 chicken breasts, finely sliced
1 pack fajitas seasoning or 2-3 tsp of fajitas seasoning from a jar
Method:
If making for the freezer: Add all ingredients to a labelled freezer bag and freeze flat. When needed, fully defrost and place a frying pan on a medium heat and add a splash of oil. Tip everything in and cook for 8-10 minutes until chicken is cooked through and veggies are tender.
