  1. The Rules

Don’t use anything too wet or it will soak into the bread and make it soggy.
Don’t add salad, instead serve salad on side once it’s defrosted.
If you’re making tuna mayo etc try to make it with slightly less mayo than normal so that the bread doesn’t go too soggy.
You can add butter to the bread.

  2. Sandwich Fillings That Freeze Well

    Ham and cheese
    Peanut Butter
    Peanut butter and jam
    Turkey, cranberry and brie
    Roast beef
    Tuna and sweetcorn
    Meatballs and cheese
    Chicken and pesto
    Chicken and cream cheese

  1. Why is it that sandwiches are ok to be eaten just defrosted. with out being heated to steaming hot as you would other frozen dishes?. Apart from the fact it would kill a sandwich.
    I’m sure I’m.just overthinking it!

  2. If you’re going to do a tuna or ham salad with mayo, go full mayo. Put tuna between wax or parchment paper and freeze between the bread slices.
Go full delicious if you’re gonna go.

    1. Yes you can, and you can take them out the freezer whenever suits- the night before or on the morning off. Hope that helps!
